# Listing policy

> What gets an integration listed, labeled, archived or refused on tablepro.app/integrations

Review applies [POLICY.md](https://github.com/TableProApp/integrations/blob/main/POLICY.md) in the
registry, and where this summary differs from it, POLICY.md wins. A listing says the integration
worked with TablePro and met the policy when it was reviewed. It is not an endorsement or a security
audit, and support comes from the integration's author, not from TablePro.

## Labels

| Label | Built by | Assigned by |
| - | - | - |
| Official | TablePro | A maintainer |
| Partner | The company that makes the other product, confirmed through its GitHub organization or a DNS record on its domain | A maintainer, after that check |
| Community | Anyone else | The default for every new entry |

Every entry also shows **By** and its publisher, and a closed-source one shows **Closed source**.

**Archived** is a status, not a label. An archived entry leaves the directory list and search, and
its page stays with a notice. An author who fixes the problem can ask for it to return.

## Rules

| Rule | What it asks |
| - | - |
| Documented interfaces | Only the surfaces in [these developer docs](/developers): the `tablepro://` URL scheme, database URLs, the `tablepro` command, AppleScript, MCP, pairing and tokens, and Shortcuts. Find TablePro by bundle ID `com.TablePro`, not by path |
| Private files | Never read, write or delete `connections.json`, `com.TablePro.plist`, `mcp-handshake.json`, TablePro's Keychain items or its SQLite databases. CI scans open-source entries for these paths, and a new entry gets no exception and no grace period |
| Who submits | The repository owner, a member of the owning organization, or a contributor with at least a third of the top contributor's commits. Anyone else needs the owner's consent in a comment on the pull request |
| License | An open-source entry has a `LICENSE` file with an SPDX license that matches the manifest. Closed source is allowed, and its disclosures rest on the publisher's word |
| Name | Your product is `<Name> for TablePro`. `TablePro` alone and `TablePro for <Name>` are reserved for TablePro's own products. The entry's name in the directory leaves TablePro out, and never says official, verified or certified |
| Icon | Your own. The TablePro app icon is refused as your icon, and a small TablePro badge in a corner of yours is fine |
| Safe Mode | Opening connections below the user's default, such as with `safeModeLevel=0`, is allowed only for local development databases. The manifest discloses it and the entry page shows it |
| Disclosures | What it reads and writes, whether it lowers Safe Mode, where it sends data, any account it needs, and what it costs. A wrong disclosure is a violation |
| Popularity | No minimum stars, installs or downloads |

The [brand guidelines](https://tablepro.app/brand) apply on top. [Naming your
product](https://tablepro.app/brand#naming) lists every allowed and refused name form, and [Using
the logo and app icon](https://tablepro.app/brand#logo-use) keeps a badge to a third of your icon's
width. Text and image limits for the entry itself are on
[Submit to the directory](/developers/submit#manifest-fields).

## Grace periods

An entry listed before the policy took effect has 60 days, counted from the day its author is
contacted, to fix any problem with interfaces, private files, license, Safe Mode, disclosures, name
or icon that it already had. Its page says so while the time runs. If the problem is still there
when the 60 days end, the entry is archived.

A later version of the policy gives existing entries 60 days from its effective date to meet a new
rule.

## Removal

An entry is removed when its publisher asks, or at once, without contact or waiting, for malware,
credential theft, hidden data collection or a deceptive install link. A removed slug is never used
again, and its page answers 410 Gone. [Review process](/developers/review#report-a-listed-integration)
says where to report one.

## Your text and images

Manifest text is released under CC0-1.0. Icons and screenshots stay yours, and submitting them lets
TablePro show them in the directory and in the registry's published data.
